ONF carry out annual surveys over the ash slurry dam at Tarong Power Station. The underwater surface profile created, as part of the monitoring survey, is vital to the management of the disposal of the ash. To carry out the survey with the specified high level of accuracy, ONF use their hydrographic survey vessel. This vessel is mounted with a survey accurate hydrographic system, using RTK GNSS for precise position.

ONF's hydrographic system has been utilised on many other projects with great results for clients.
